"if it wasn’t for trying to argue with me every chance you can, what would
you do with your spare time colin." - Logan
Organize my sock drawer? :-) I just like to do my part to keep the hyperbole down. Gives me a warm feeling when people discuss different views with a non-patronizing tone. :-)
"having a full official "committee" in place as well as proposed names and heraldry is a little more than simple "start-up" activities. i really couldn’t care less if you believe me or not colin but my entire reign was
involved in the debate and occasional discussion. and that started while i was prince. i was there during my reign, trust me." - Logan
I can tell you that it got moving during Anton's reign and ended during Stephan's reign, trust me. Which was a year and a half after you stepped down. A lot happened in that window including me being added to that afore mentioned committee as a "non-peer sourthern Barony representative." At the time I traveled from Barony to Barony and worked with a lot of people that were very interested seeing it through. In the end (and this is my opinion) it wasn't lack of interest but the incredible bad feeling generated in our Southern friends who felt the motivation for going Principality were unclear and unpure.
Now, if the North decides to try again both the North and South need to agree that there is merit behind the idea (they don't have to like it). If a Principality is proposed to fix a problem (i.e. high gas, etc) please attack the relative value of the proposed solution using logic not emotion. Please feel free to use counter arguments such as permenant central sites. Please DON'T use hyperbole. Using hyperbole gets people off trying to think about the solution and on to scoring counterpoints which is a waste of time.
