if that is true then i would support the only bid submitted being accepted
(assuming the site was acceptable, the event planned correctly, et al). i
don't think kingdom level events should be held in the far boundaries of the
kingdom however. but if it's the only option in the end i say go with what
you have. if the deadline is extended and nothing more centrally located is
found then i guess it will have to be done that way.
but im not involved in the bid committee nor am i heir to the throne. just
looking in from the outside.

decline the more distant (from center) bids. im just shooting in the dark

based on location. i could be wrong of course. i just think there must be
more to the story and i would caution people to reserve judgment on things
until they know all the facts.
