The earliest citation for "huzzah" (or a variant thereof) given in the Oxford English Dictionary is 1573, which would make it neither a "renfaire thing" nor a "________kingdom thing", but rather a historical usage dating to within the SCA period and the supposed period(s) of renaissance faires.

>Is it a regional difference between Huzzah, Hoobah, and >Poobaa?

Hoobah! is the very ancient Midrealm cry, dating from ... oh, around AS V (early 1970s). Poobah is an incorrect usage by those who did not quite understand that everyone was crying Hoobah. The Hubba, hubba => Hoobah deriviation is correct.
Sometimes Huzzah was and still is used in the Midrealm.

Approximately contemporary with the emergence of Hoobah! in the Middle Kingdom, and influencing its development, was the phrase:
"Huzzah! (That's fairytale talk for Hooray!)."
I believe this is a quote or near quote from a children's book.

Aside: The original title of this book was "Huzzah Means Hooray":
