okay, for once, i am going to say a few things about this lengthy discussion.  if people have issues with driving, making sure things are centrally located, etc. then why not take it up with the proper people?  i understand wanting the populace's opinion, but why draw it out and complain in a forum where you can't do anything about it?  if there are issues, talk to the crown.  talk to the k. senechal (it's what she's there for!), or give your regional sen. something to do, and have then talk to the k. sen. so she can have a consensus of opinions, and not numerous individuals.  the only thing being accomplished here is getting some people's feathers ruffled.

as for the principality, if people want to go for it again, let then.  granted, i love being able to travel through states and visit places, but people are right.  gas is way expensive.  but, again, go through proper channels to discuss it.  create an egroup for it.  it's working for middle gate so far.  :)  and as for people being afraid, don't be.  it just give us more opportunity to focus our armies, and have yet another cousin to play with.  this is about enjoyment, and the dream.  perhaps having a smaller kingdom will allow more people to afford to play since events would be closer for all.  try and find a positive in all this, instead of the negative.
