Herewith follows the business of the court of Their Excellencies Rorik and Janina, Baron and Baroness of Storvik, on the occasion of the Novice and Unbelt Tourney in the fair lands of Storvik, July 12, A.S. XLIII (2008).

Their Excellencies first gave Their appreciation to His Royal Majesty Sinclair for making the long journey to our Barony, and then to the populace for their attendance and courtesies and many talents.

Then Lord Joscelin d'Outremer was called before his Baron and Baroness and, for his tireless work as Storvik's Knight Marshal and fighter practice organizer, was made a Companion of the Lozulet.

Their Excellencies next requested the presence of Lord Henry West, who was thanked for his service to the Barony by induction into the Order of the Lozulet.

Likewise, Syr Richard de Montbrai was called before Their Excellencies, who praised his?work?to organize a?demonstration that brought many subjects of northern Atlantia to a zoological park in Storvik, and They saw fit to make him a Companion of the Lozulet.

Having taken frequent notice of Baron Ansel Rowland Matthews' prowess on the battlefield, Their Excellencies called him into court and made him a member of the Order of the Silver Silkie.

Then did the Baron and Baroness request the presence of Lord William Shoprat, also known as Shop Rat Bill, and took notice of his fine fighting abilities and made him a Companion of the Silver Silkie.

Next did Their Excellencies call forward the autocrat of this event, Lady Beatrix von Leipzig, who gave a full and fair accounting of the proceedings of the day and the winners of the many contests of martial and artistic skill.

Their Excellencies having no further business, and seeing that His Majesty wished to conduct further business with His populace, They asked Their herald to close Their baronial court.

Respectfully submitted,
Patricia of Trakai
Storvik Cornet
