I have been reading the list topic "You know you're in the SCA when..." Well
here's one that's a thank you too.
You know you're in the SCA when a month before Pennsic you have everything
SCA stolen from you and your friends all team up together to get you back in
shape, and not only do they do it, but you are ready with 2 weeks to spare!
Evan of Dun Carraig the breast plate you made is better than I had before.
You've got to start selling these! You've detailed it soo much I can't wait
to show everyone at war. And the finish you put on the helm... I love it. To
top all of that off you've donated all the leather I needed! And to sugar
coat all of that you gave me fabric which I was able to turn into a tabard!
Baron Jonathas I've lost track of the days you've spent working on my new
camp furniture. And all the work cutting, shapping, fitting, waxing and
strapping my leather armor. Then of course there was fitting, padding and
strapping the new helm.
Sarah of CT, Thank you so much. I mailed you some fabric and some numbers
and poof! You turned it into gowns! Magic, truely.
Cee Cee and Jill the fabric you donated I managed to turn into outfits, a
true feat for me. Thank you.
Sir Tash and Livia Thank you for the use of your wall tent for Pennsic. Not
only do I get to stay comfy and dry in a period way, but I also get to
preview a new style of tent before I order a new one.
And to the Barony of Dun Carraig Thank you. It's the little things in war
that make a tent home.
