Good Afternoon, gentle cousins!

Preparation for Atlantia's gift basket to Trimaris has been made... the
liner, a lovely cover, and a goodly basket exist. There are some lengths of
lucet cording in blue for our Trimaran Cousins to use for medallion cords.
There is a gorgeous deep blue etched glass vase created and donated by Lord
Melcher Lloyd of Hawkwood (thank you SO much, milord!!) and there are a few
other smaller items (stamps, thank-you notes, calling cards and the
like)--but so far that is it. I know everyone is in full Pennsic prep mode,
and that time is drawing nigh... but I beg you to consider that which you
might wish to donate to make this the most munificent, magnificent,
wonderful gift basket ever given by any kingdom to another.

If you live in the northern end of the kingdom and wish to donate, just let
me know--I can come fetch things. If you live elsewhere, I can send you my
mailing address. We need donations ASAP in order to bring yet more glory to
our beloved homeland, as our King and Queen meet with the Trimaran Royals to
gift them with the bounty that is Atlantia. Won't you please help?

If you send or bring or otherwise hand off a donation to me, please DO make
certain there is a card attached stating your SCA name, Barony/local group
if you wish, a mundane address and name, and what the item is.

Additionally, as I am unable to attend Pennsic, I beg that some kind soul
will consent to either come by my home (conveniently off Route 29/15 in
Virginia, one of the northward routes of pilgrimage) and collect the basket
for delivery to Their Majesties. If anyone can perform that service for me,
I would be most grateful; I can be readily reached by the e-mail address on
this message.

Blessings on you all for your generosity, and blessings on your travels as
you head north to War!

in service to Crown and Kingdom,
Meli

:)

PS: As a drop-dead measure of additional donation, you could always stop by
Atlantia Royal and hand donations to a member of their Majesties' court; if
you do that please visit as SOON as you arrive, and please DO make certain
the card referred to above is attached to your item. This way the Court
will know it is a gift basket donation--and the card will eventually make
its way back to me so I can send you a thank-you note in honour of your
kindness. I will try to find out what day the basket will be given to
Trimaris, and will post later.
