I'm outside cumberland and if may suggest a great place to take a break on way through is Sidling (sp) hill ... they cut the pass right through a mountain range and the vistor center there has some incrediable view of the different layers ... the bathrooms in my experiances (I stop there often) are close to at home clean and the people in center are very nice and helpful. It only takes bit to see it all but well worth the break ... also walk up the steps (good practice for war walking) to the top can get up close to the rock wall ....
