post... So, here's more info gathered from the Herald's Point coordinator,

HERALDS' POINT

Heralds' Point offers extensive resources and knowledgeable assistance on
names, devices, and badges for individuals and groups.
Please come by and visit us to get answers to all your heraldic questions.

If you want to submit a name or armory from an unusual culture or with some
administrative issues or if you have several pieces of business to conduct
with the heralds, please come to the Point as early in the War as you can
and ask about making an appointment.

Known World Heralds Party: All Heralds are invited to come by Heralds'
Point to, witness the changing of our Sovereigns of Arms, socialize and meet
fellow heralds from around the Known World! Light refreshments will be
served.

Monday, August 4, 10 AM-1PM
Laurel Sovereign of Arms Road Show: Listen as commenters from the SCA
College of Arms discuss and decide on name and armory submissions! All
heralds and other interested parties are invited to attend.

Monday, August 4, 1-3 PM
Heraldic Walking Tour, Master Herveus d'Ormonde, Leaving from Atlantian
Royal We will look at various examples of heraldic usage around Pennsic and
discuss heraldic designs. The group will award "atta-boys" to displays they
find inspiring. Wear good walking shoes and bring water.

Thursday, August 7, 10 AM-12 Noon
Heraldic Walking Tour, Master Bran Trefonnen & Mistress Rhiannon ui Neill
Leaving from Atlantian Royal We will look at various examples of heraldic
usage around Pennsic and discuss heraldic designs. The group will award
"atta-boys" to displays they find inspiring. Wear good walking shoes and
bring water.

Classes:
All heraldry classes will be offered through Pennsic University this
year. Please see the University schedule for available classes, dates, and
times.

Volunteers:
Exchequers. Artists. People who can color inside the lines. O, and Heralds.
We need heralds at all levels of experience to assist with name and
armory consultations; artists to draw proposed armory (traceable art and
light tables are available); and warranted exchequers to accept payment for
submissions. General help is needed with greeting customers, running
errands, shelving books, and coloring armory forms.
If you are interested in volunteering, please come by Heralds' Point and we
will put you to work.
