Upon the 12th of July AS XLIII, his Majesty Sinclair, King of
Atlantia, did desire to hold a pair of Courts at the Storvik Novice
Tournament.

In the morning, he did first call forth Lady Ana Beig de Rosslyn, and
noting her accomplishments in the Arts, he summoned the Order of the
Pearl, and did induct her into that most noble Order.

He then called Lady Rivka, who was quite confused, as she did protest
that she was no Lady and had no Arms, but His Majesty did then reveal
to her that she, in fact, had been given Arms by his predecessors,
Logan and Rowan, upon a previous Court some months ago, but that the
notice of this had not been able to be given to her until this time,
and as such, he bid her rise and be greeted as a Lady of the Realm as
she had been entitled for all these months.

Finally upon this morning did he summon the two who had been
previously given Writs to appear for consideration of induction into
the Order of the Laurel, Lady Caemfind ingen Chobthaig and Lord
Geoffrey Bourette, and did ask them if they were prepared to sit vigil
upon this day. Receiving answer in the affirmative, he then bid Court
to be closed, and he accompanied the Candidates to their Vigils.

Later, after a day of much warmth, combat upon foot and horseback,
loosing of arrows, tasting of things brewed, and many other diverse
things, the Evening Court was held.

First, His Majesty did call forth Lady Caemfind again, and after
questioning her about her vigil, hearing the words of the Worthies,
and finding her finally suitable and prepared, he did induct Lady
Caemfind ingen Chobthaig into the Order of the Laurel.

Next, Mikhail Chaika Pavlov was called forth, and his skills in the
Arts were noted, and as such, he was inducted into the Order of the
Pearl.

The Order of the Pearl was not complete at this time, however, as the
absence of one other worthy artisan was noted. In order to fill this
obvious void, Lord Edward de Clare was called forth and also inducted
into the Order.

Upon the Order's retreat from Court, Acelina Le Dragon was called
forward, and recognized as a Lady of the Realm, deserving of bearing
Arms, therefore she was awarded the same.

Lady Teleri Barod was next called, and inducted into the Order of the
Coral Branch, she was also presented with the first of the new
medallions cast for this Order.

Sorcha Prechan was brought forth from the populace, recognized for her
accomplishments, and created a Lady of the Realm, with the right to
bear arms awarded to her at this time.

Similarly, the actions of Edward Igorsson over his entire life in the
Society were noted, such that the Awarding of Arms to him was the
right and proper thing to do at this time.

At this time, their Excellencies of Storvik did beg the boon of
holding a Court to recognize their subjects. This boon was granted,
and a report of this Court will be forthcoming from the Baronial
Herald soon.

Upon the closing of said Court, the Royal Court did resume with the
collection of the tax from the Royal Brewer, Karl Haroldson, and then
the calling of Ru the Doghead. Ru's ferocity upon the fighting field
was noted, and as such he was presented with the Order of the Silver
Osprey, in addition to the Award of Arms that said Order gives.

Lady Patricia of Trakai came forward next, and was inducted into the
Order of the Opal for her tireless services to the Kingdom.

Next, the fine work done upon the Coronets of Storvik was noted, and
the creators of the same, Lord Gregor and Lady Beatrix Von Leipzig,
were called into Court. Regrettably, Lord Gregor was not able to be
present, however His Majesty did award both of them with the Silver
Nautilus, and he did entreat Lady Beatrix to pass along this
information to him with his Majesty's admiration.

Baron Ansel Rowland Matthews was called forth next, and the second of
the new Coral Branch medallions was bestowed upon him, as was fit
since he was inducted into said Order at this time.

After this, one who has stood as a member of Atlantia's Army for
thirty-five years was noted. Master Donal mac Ruiseart was summoned
forth, and His Majesty did marvel at Master Donal's steadfastness and
longevity upon the field. He also noted that Master Donal had never
been recognized with a Martial award of the Kingdom. This could not
be allowed to stand, and as such, King Sinclair did induct Master
Donal into the Order of the Silver Osprey.

Finally, the second Laurel Candidate, Lord Geoffrey Bourette, was
summoned forth. His Majesty did again receive counsel from the
worthies, and after examining the Candidate, did find him prepared and
did therefore induct Lord Geoffrey into the Order of the Laurel, with
all rights and privledges pertaining thereto.

There being no further business, the Court was closed and the Court
and Populace did sit for a most wonderous feast.

This is a correct and complete recounting of the business conducted
upon this day. Any errors in name spelling or fact are my failings of
transcription and I welcome corrections sent to gormofberra at gmail.com
