After seeing this email and then reviewing further emails this morning I am 
thrilled to see the apologies that have gone forward.

However, since this email was forwarded to the Merry Rose there is some 
information contained in the original email that is inaccurate and my fear 
is that if it is not corrected some will not be aware of the inaccuracy and 
assume that information conveyed is true.

Their Majesties, Kari and Sinclair, have traveled into Virginia and beyond 
during Their reign and as a matter of fact King Sinclair is traveling to 
Storvik's Novice Tourney this very weekend.

Additionally, knowing that some of the ill feelings currently being 
portrayed in this email are generated by the situation that developed 
surrounding the Kingdom event bid process and having some knowledge of the
event bid process I would like to point out that it would be very unusual 
for Their Majesties Kari & Sinclair, or any reigning monarchs, to have been 
involved in the decision making process for a Kingdom event that occurs 
nearly five months after They step down from the throne.

Their Majesties have a great love of the SCA and especially of this Kingdom 
and have endeavored to serve Atlantia to the absolute very best of Their 
ability.  I know I have been duly impressed.

All I ask is that any time that anyone feels the need to convey what they 
feel is the wishes of the Throne, to please ensure that those are the wishes 
of the Throne.
