I find it actually is often quicker to come up with my own pattern than
to spend the time trying to find decent commercial ones, adapt them to
fit me and figure out their directions. Especially if your making
something fairly simple. The Atlantian A&S page of links has LOTS of
websites with clear directions on how to quickly come up with a period
outfit that fits you.
