NMS Breakeven:
doing the math, NMS [non member surcharge]
discount versus membership price means that Pennsic
plus TWO regular events THEN it would
make financial sense.

pennsic by its self gives a $30 discount, regular NMS
is usually $3, BUT membership is $35. pay it quickly
via the website and you may get your membership
card back in time.. last time only took me 14
days. stories vary. (save your purchase confirmation
page just in case)

Difference: SCA INC is milipitas california / and online.
at the gate you are not at SCA,INC you are at Shire
of Whatever. Beware trying to purchase memberships
at a set time like entering an event; sometimes the site
freezes up, or just plain shuts down, etc. never heard
of anyone being being stolen from, either works or doesnt.

i mention it to all of our new folks, youre cheaper to member
if you're doing an event a month, or a War and two events...
or if you want to vote, or hold an office... by then youre an
SCA junkie and it only makes sense :-)

service,
callidore -sca junkie :-)
