Does your mate get all the glory?

Are you sick of watching from the sidelines?

Injured and your doctor says "one more 300 pound man falling on you, and
your done?"

Do you HAVE to have front row seats?

Timid and don't want to dive in head first?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions then I have the answer for
you. Siege! That's right folks Siege! The fast track to your front row seat.
A way to test the waters of the field before joining with heavy combat. Keep
your injured feet on the field where they belong! Take some of that glory
for yourself, and join your mate in fighting for Atlantia! You can do it!
Don't have a siege machine? Don't worry, one will be provided for you. And
if you act now you also could be a Combat Archer! That's right folks you can
even Authorize Combat Archery while you're Storviks Novice Event.

Seriously. Baron Jonathas will be at Storvik Novice and the War Practice on
Sunday, he'll be teaching and authorizing for Siege. He'll have loaner gear
so don't let that stop you. He'll have the famous Red- The Onagar, and Tiny-
the Trebuchet, to teach you the rules and give you a feel for the game. Just
bring yourself, and a cup (groin protection). Baron Jonathas can teach you
how and when to yield. You'll learn how to die safely near the machine so
that the machine can and will protect you. Don't fear getting hit by the
Heavy Fighters, they're out there to have fun and want you to have fun too.

It's a great way to get on the field and see some of the action close up. If
you've never been on the field as a fighter its something you should
experience. There is a magic all it's own with being out there. Siege is a
forgiving weapons form in as it doesn't care how much strength you have. How
large or small you are. It doesn't care that you haven't left your desk job
in two years. You can still join on the field with Siege and find a love for
the battles. You don't have to "master" a machine to play. All you need is
the basic safety rules and the owners will teach you their machines how to
use them. As each machine is different in their own ways.

Every machine needs a crew. A crew member can be/do many things, such as
picking up ammo to load in the machine. A crew member may have the job of
standing lookout, calling out when an incoming shot or a fighter approaches.
A crew member may watch to see where the shots the machine has fired is
landing and coach which direction is needed for that perfect shot. And man,
when the team works together and you make that perfect shot, Well it's
awesome. Then there is the all important job of the crew member who pulls
the trigger! Anyone, of age, can be a siege member!
