[MR] Pennsic suggestion

Many of us with period pavillions have to register extra people in order for our encampment to have enough room for us to set it up. I have registerred my dog, for example. ( what a waste!) If the people only coming for the weekend don't need camping space, I could see the benefit in coordinating a list for next year of people who have to register an extra space anyway with people who only want to come for the weekend.
If people think that this would be value added...I do not mind volunteering to match people up. Seems like it would be a pretty simple task.

Subject: [MR] Pennsic suggestion
Not sure where to send this suggestion, but did also just want to get a
sense if other folks think this is a good idea...
I work with a couple of SCAdians, and because of work etc, we aren't
able to go to Pennsic. So we were bummed because we're going to miss the
best shopping in the Known World. We could drive up for a day, but don't
want to pay admission for a week, when we're only going to be there for
a day.
It would be great if there were a designated shopping day for day
trippers to come in. I wouldn't mind paying 7.00 - 10.00 to come on site
for one day to shop. (Heck, I spend more so I can shop at the Maryland
Renn Faire). It could be done as a single day with a ribbon as site
token (like a Saturday or a Sunday), or if they want to have every day
available for shoppers, a different color ribbon for each day. I'm sure
the vendors would like this, too.
Where would a suggestion like this be sent?
In Service,
Alessandra
