This new book by Michael Bath just arrived in the mail, and in leafing
through it, I can tell you that it has a lot of Mary's panels that I have never
seen before. Also, the author has provided the Gessner/Mattioli/Magnus/etc.
prints from which she took each design. The appendices describe the Oxburgh Ha
ngings, the Oxburgh Valance, two Hardwick cushion covers, the Hardwick
octagons, detached panels, and Mary's bed of state individually in detail.
Overall, just from a quick glance, it appears to be a wonderful addition to my
library.

It is published by Archetype Books _www.archetype.co.uk_
(http://www.archetype.co.uk) (my copy was sent from England, but it may be available through
their US distributor, JG Publications, _www.jgpubs.com_ (http://www.jgpubs.com)
). The price is 29.50 pounds; the ISBN is 9781904982364.
