I and most especially my lady, Lady Julienne fille Gaspard need your prayers
at this time.
While visiting a high school friend in South Bend, Indiana, Jewel was
helping to fix a clogged sink and the drain cleaner splashed up into her
eyes. She went to the hospital where she stayed for a few days.
She is currently suffering a significant loss of eyesight to the level of
approximately 20/400 and cannot see beyond eight feet in distance.
We do not yet know the level of any permanent damage to her eyes or if it
will be correctable by surgery. As many of you know, she is a talented
scribe in her own right, and I can only just imagine the pain I would
suffer, if I could not scribe due to such an accident. I beseech you all
good gentles to call on whatever deities you believe in to heal my wife's
eyesight. Thank you.
