[MR] One A&S challenge for Highland River Melees

Those who know me know that I am demo crazy and always
interested in applying what we learn/do in the SCA to
it's effect on modern society. 
So, for this year's Highland River Melees in June, I
am sponsoring a competition. (Entries will not be
limited by time period, however this years emphasis is
on the age of the Black Prince, if that helps with
focus.) **For all other Highland River Melees

The competition...
A&S Connections: A challenge to connect the item or
process with its impact on modern society. Document
the connections from the era of the development
through time to today. Please be available to explain
your research to the spectators as well as SCAdians at
Highland River Melees.
