Subject: [Bright Hills] Ro's long night is over


Bright Hills,

I am heartbroken to announce to you that Lynn Hunter, more formally known as
Baroness Roana di Laci, succumbed this afternoon to her prolonged battle
with cancer. She passed quietly in her sleep and did not suffer.

I will be posting information about the viewing and funeral mass some time
tomorrow.

I apologize to those who are finding out about this via email who felt they
should've been called. I made a personal effort to directly contact those I
felt were in her inner circle of friends. Some folks I reached; others I did
not. I did not want to leave voice mails for obvious reasons. At the same
time, I wanted to get word out as soon as possible so that those who did
know would not have to grieve in silence. If I have offended anyone, I
apologize.

At this time, things are very hectic at our home. Our family is present and
we do not need anything. I ask on behalf of our family for a bit of time to
catch our breath and mourn in private before accepting visitors.
