I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the many people who
attended the Masked Ball at this past weekend's Twelfth Night
celebration. In my estimation the ball was a wild success, and I
counted about 40 or 50 enthusiastic dancers and nine very talented live
musicians at its peak. This level of support for the gentle art of
dance was wonderful to see, and I am thrilled that so many people seemed
to enjoy themselves so very much.

In hopes of continuing with this momentum, I'd like to announce that I
will be running additional balls at the upcoming Tournament of Ymir
(February 9) and at St. Vitus' Dance (April 19), both in the fair Barony
of Windmasters Hill. There is also a ball planned as a major activity at
Interbaronial Twelfth Night in Tir-y-don on January 26. I hope that many
of you will join the revels at those events as well!

I would also like to call your attention to the homepage of L'Academie
Atlantienne de la Danse, where information on dance in Atlantia can
always be found.

Thanks again to all who processed through the ballroom, spun through a
country dance or provided beautiful melodies. The revel would not have
been the same without your support, enthusiasm and interest.

In Service to Terpsichore and Atlantia,
