Thank you for the erudite discussion of Norse weaponry.  You've done a great
job of raising the tenor of a very lowbrow discussion.  Just to close the
loop for the culturally deprived, "Bom Chikka Bow Bow" is an advertising
slogan of Axe brand men's cologne.  That is how Axe entered into the
discussion of sexy Viking garb.

Going back to the original article, I was surprised that the authors seemed
to be working from a quaint old vision of Viking women's garb.  I thought
the two-piece apron and the brass bra a la Wonder Woman were discredited
long ago.
