Dearest Atlantians,
The Kingdom A&S Festival is coming up in less than two weeks! I would like
to encourage each and every person who intends to bring a display to
preregister with me so that my staff can adequately accomodate everyone.
This year's KASF is huge and there will be lots to do and see. I would hate
for someone to come all the way to the event just to find that there isn't
enough space for their fine works. The staff would like to request that you
keep your display to 1/4 of an 8' table. That's two feet by 30 inches,
folks. Vertical display is highly encouraged. If you feel that you really
need more space than that, or you need floor space as well, absolutely take
the time to send me an email at krista (dot) moyer (at) gmail (dot) com so
that I can do my best to accomodate your needs. We will do our best to be
as flexible as possible, but if you don't let me know you are coming, we may
not be able to give you more than that standard 1/4 of a table. Space
requests are being taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
I have also been warned that accomodation for guilds will only be allotted
to those who prereserve space with the autocrat. If your guild does not
appear on the website http://kasf.atlantia.sca.org/, then you will not have
space. Each prereserved guild will be given one table. Consideration for
additional space will be given on a first-come first-served basis.
Please take the time to visit the website. There is a ton of stuff out there
waiting to be discovered. There are live demonstrations, including baking,
glasswork and historic martial arts as well as performance competitions and
a ton of good food if you send your paid registration in on time. Plus, the
artisans of Atlantia have been working all year to wow you with their
gorgeous works. There is literally going to be something for everyone. I
can't wait to see you there!
