Greetings Friends,
For those of you who do not know what Project Linus is, it is a non profit group that makes and distributed blankies to children who are hospitalized or traumatized by events such as house fires or other events. It is a wonderful organization which provides a bit of love and comfort in the form of a soft, handmade blanket.
We held a Project Linus collection a few months back and I am happy to report we were able to present 17 blankets to the cause. I would like to hold another collection at the upcoming Nottinghill Coill Baronial Birthday to be held on February 22-24. The collection bin will be in the Arts and Sciences hall for anyone who wishes to make a donation. The only rules are that the blankets must be made out of soft, non-allergenic materials and they must be handmade.
The Project Linus website can provide you with any more information on the organization http://www.projectlinus.org/index.shtml and they have very easy to make, no-sew patterns here: http://www.projectlinus.org/NoSewFB.pdf .

Thanks to all of you for your kind attention!

YIS,
Baroness Brig Ingen Erennaigh, CP
