Greetings!
For my undergraduate work, I had to complete a thematic bibliography...and being a SCAdian, guess what my theme was :-)
Given more time, I could probably come up with a much better list, and I may do so when things are a little less busy. I have listed the bibliographic information below. If anyone is interested in my rationale behind my book selections, please email me privately (eirys85 at yahoo.com) and I'll be glad to send it to you. Hope this helps!

Here in Highland Foorde we recently had a very wonderful demo at a local
school, for their 4th and 5th graders. One thing the enrichment teacher
asked me about was a reading list. It is something I keep putting off
getting together and especially now that my daughter is 18...well, she is a
little beyond that age range. Currently I don't have enough time to do much
research and put one together so I was hoping that you all out there might
be able to help. Anyone out there have a reading list for Elementary and
Middle school age kids? One particular book my daughter read was "Catherine
Called Birdy" by Karen Cushman. That one I remember distinctly and I really
enjoyed it too. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
