Hello Atlantia!
Bored? Looking for something to do that you really enjoy? Looking
to find new and interesting things to occupy your mind, hands and
creative notions? I have the very thing!
Kingdom Arts and Sciences, 2009!!!!
What more could you ask for than to meet the challenge of creating
something warm, exotic, tasty or just simply beautiful? I am here to
encourage all our Atlantian artisans to create something wondserful
to show the Knowne World what amazing folks we have here in Atlantia.
Some of the planned activities are:
The Persona Pentathlon and, for the under 18 set, the Persona Triathlon.
The Gyrth Oldcastle Memorial Poetry Challenge featuring the Fabliaux
Challenge! Once again, duelling poets, rhymes at the ready...
The St. Barbara Reliquary competition. ONly designs need be submitted
at the event.
The Inter-Baronial A & S Champions Competition
A "Novice Tourney" with out competing. Bring the project that is new
to you this year, something you've never tried before.
An A & S 50 display for our really energetic folks.
Auditions for "A Man for all Seasons". The play is to be presented at
Pennsic this coming August, 2009.
A Performing Arts competition
Merchants...always welcome!
and much more!!!
We have areas for large projects to be displayed, outdoor space for
'messy' demos, plenty of tables and room and we will be offering both
a light lunch and a light dinner meal for those who do not wish to go
out.
