[MR] KASF 2009 and The St. Barbara Project

    Greetings all,

       Upon returning from Unevent yesterday I found that the format of
the competition for the reliquary of the St. Barbara Icon and relic
has been changed.  The Church understands the work required to
complete a project of this type and they have told Lady Ingeborg,
coordinator for this competition, that what they want to see
entered are the DESIGNS and details planned for the reliquary
entries.
       So, I wanted to get that information out to you immediately.  I did
see a note or two expressing concerns about the volume of time and
work that can go into a project of this nature and thus folks were
thinking that it was more than they wanted to commit to.  I can
understand that and, obviously, so can the Russian Orthodox Church.

       I hope this news encourages you to give this competition a more
