Good Gentles, take heed! The camels of Windmasters' Hill are restless. Their
hunger grows, but our caravan's supplies and gold dwindle. Our most
excellent Shayk's interesting ideas for new business ventures have not yet
refilled our coffers. Who will supply the stables with grain?
We look to you, good people of Atlantia. You who surge forth to do battle at
the Oasis -- surely you can bring an extra sack of feed for the camels? (You
don't really want mad, hungry camels roaming camp, do you?) If you have no
grain, perhaps you can bring something lovely that we can barter for hay.
Sacks of grain, and other treasures fit for sale or barter, will be
displayed at an indoor bazaar (that is, silent auction) from 1-4 on Saturday
afternoon. Donations of a Middle Eastern nature are most eagerly sought.
Please contact Margaret Wolseley (challe at alumni.unc.edu) if you need
assistance determining whether the camels would be willing to consume your
offering, or if your sack of grain might be in need of transport to the
Oasis.
Dontations of goods and services for the Silent Auction will be accepted
starting Saturday morning at 10:00. Although we'd love items that go with
the Middle Eastern event theme, other items are also appreciated. Proceeds
will benefit the Barony of Windmasters' Hill.
In Service,
Margaret Wolseley
