Good gentles,
Please forgive this very off-topic post.
The Cat Corner in Hampton received this week three adult cats. All three were fixed on Monday. On Tuesday, the family the cats came from called to say the babies of one of the cats were found in a bush. The Cat Corner went back and got them (approx. 8 days old) and placed them with their just-spayed mother. During the night, two disappeared (one was found later, dead, and I personally believe the mother has eaten the other). There are two remaining kittens in dire need of help. The Cat Corner would like someone who could foster the mother and two remaining kittens for a minimum of four weeks (the shelter has put out feelers to find a foster home, but has had no luck), though my personal feelings are that these kittens would be better off with another nursing cat or hand-fed until they are weaned, since the mother is spayed and probably will not produce enough milk or have the natural instincts.
If I could, I would, but my mother's cat would not tolerate them. Please, if you have the time and ability to foster these babies, please e-mail me at avani_pari2 at yahoo.com or call me at (757)825-8860 or (757)880-6609. You can also call the Cat Corner directly at (757) 722-0590.
Please someone help these babies!
