[MR] fete thanks

It really is a wonderful donation to Pennsic that Atlantian makes. The
children's water battle is another. I was pretty nervous about the fete, as
I knew near to nothing about running it, and what I do I like to do well.
But I just put on my fool's motley to deflect all criticisms and that worked
like a charm. The incredible preparations that Baroness Kisaiya had made all
panned out, Duchess Isabel DID know what to do, and all these volunteers
poured in from all sides right as the kids lined up to get in.

It was really fun- I got to paint so many dragons on so many faces, learned
to make swords out of very long balloons... and got to watch many delighted
children's faces. What a wonderful chaos! The baroness of Storvik (Yanina?)
showed up very early to nail down the registration table- she looked as
nervous as I was about suddenly being in charge of Something Big. She did a
great job!

Okay, if it's alright with the husband, I'll be back next year- as a fool or
a facepainter or both!
