Pennsic does have children's theater, that's where my 12 year old
spends an hour each day of war from Sunday to Thursday with a
performance on Friday (She has been doing children's theater there for
the last 4 or 5 years). There is a small contigent of pre-teens she
sees from year to year. They have grown so large (50+ kids) that I
think next year they may be splitting it by age groups. With enough
volunteers, Maybe the teens and tweens could put on a production for the
younger kids.

Why should A&S be limited to static competitions?
What about performances...plays, music, acrobatics?
Teach them interactive games like shuttlecock or "campball" or
bocce...maybe juggling contests?
Teach them Medieval card games versus "Magic."
Have A&S classes & gatherrings just for teens? (as long as you could get
them to buy into the "coolness" of it.)
Just throwing out some ideas here.
