Interesting.
I thought that Lord Mungoe was right on the money with his
comments, and have read the ensuing replies from those with far more
experience than I with interest. Some good ideas were
presented. This one aspect of the situation is one upon which I may
shed some light.
For all of the Pennsics which I've been able to attend, I've
volunteered at Public Safety. The last four or five of these have
been staffing the dispatch desk, coordinating the patrols and
supervisors and logging incidents. At least four of these shifts
have been between ten pm and five am. In my experience, it's pretty
uncommon to get a report from the bathhouse. Barn or bog are more
likely. The problems we get from the barn are generally
"unaccompanied child", as opposed to actual harmful activity.
BTW, my lady Sarah and I were devastated not to have been
able to attend this year.
