[MR] Know world landry day

For the first time in years, we left Pennsic on Saturday rather than Sunday
- that 40% chance of rain between two 60%-ers was a godsend. And so was my
kick-hinney staff who helped me so well that I left Pennsic rested and
practically pain-free (lugging large amounts of supplies for weeks on end
can affect the back of any chair-jockey).

I loved my first time hanging out in Herald's Point. I really loved the
moments of Crayola Therapy they let me indulge in when stress was running
high among the event staff. There's nothing like mindless colouring of
pretty pictures to help a person relax.

Camping with my barony was grand.
My husband coming to get me to talk me into a new pair of "Revival" shoes
was pretty awesome too.
Og's surprise gift put a lift to my walk for days, especially after I saw
his new digs and his humble pride in the people who'd contributed to his
ease.

Watching the Autocrat and the Exchequer spent not one, but two nights
without sleep in order to complete all the pennants awed me. Having other
members of staff step in and help on top of their own work just made me
proud to know any of them.

And I loved meeting Eilis in person. And words cannot describe how happy I
was having my husband there for my full time instead of only after land
grab. That's a rare gift and I'm going to treasure it.

So for me, it was a very good War.
