How about maybe coming up with a new twist on old games. I remember growing up with board games like Stratigo, Chess, Parchisi and many others. Some of these games have their roots during that period. The ones that are not period games, you can alter rules slightly so it will be period. Imagine playing life with waggons instead of cars and Monopoly where you are purchasing countries, landmarks and battlefields instead of streets. There is always a way to make things intresting for the young and young at heart alike. LOL
