I had an amazing time at Pennsic, despite my recent eye injury, and would do it all aain in a heartbeat.
Well, I went to Pennsic Sunday night through Wednesday night. I rode up with Baroness Anne og Mstinud snf Lsfy Marguarita (sp?) of Berley Court. These ladies were so awesome and I loved hanging out with them. After a rough start (*cough* trailer flipped over), we got to Pennsic without any other problems, and from the moment I got there it was fun, fun, fun.
My favourite new momory is Vince Conway iving me a brief lesson on the hammered dulcimer *gush* He's such an awesome musician, and for him to take the time to show me a little about the dulcimer (my very favourite instrument that I want to learn to play)...it was amazing and so exciting. If you have not seen this gentleman at Pennsic, he's usually in the shade off the path toward the barn, and he is one of the most amazing people ever on the dulcimer...make sure to stop and listen to him if you get a chance (and if anyone has an extra copy of one of his new cd's or knows how to get one, I want one...I didn't catch him in time to get one :( ).
I camped with the Barony of Sacred Stone, and found them to be one of the most loving and comfortable groups to camp with. Everyone was cheery and happy, and I knew if I was in camp, I wouldn't have to deal with any drama.
I guess what I'm saying is that Pennsic was a blast once again, so see, there's another happy Pennsic story :)
