I ended up coming back to Stierbach *behind* the thunderstorms. The 
washing is getting done gradually. I was only there for a week so I don't 
have as much to do as usual.

Not all my time at this Pennsic was happy, as some can attest. But there 
were some good times too! The Known World Heralds party simply *rocked* -- 
thank you so very very much Gisela!! And lots of thanks to Dragonsong who 
came and played for the party. I got to know one of our local heralds 
better. I was able to renew and deepen many friendships, with gentles from 
many other kingdoms (e.g. Caid, the West, the East, AEthelmearc, the 
Middle, Northshield, among others).

And, of course, there was the vigil for my good friend Tanczos Istvan, who 
was elevated into the Order of the Pelican at East Kingdom Court on 
Thursday. Among the many cool things about all this: The scroll was read 
twice, the second time in English, but the first time was done, tag-team 
style, *in Hungarian*.

I will also note that, while I had a very up and down war, many of my 
friends have said that this was their Best Pennsic Ever (at least so far).
