  Lets stop the name calling and bs.  OUR CROWN has asked that we consider wearing the proposed mantles at Pennsic.  They suggested mantles so that people could still wear thier own heraldry.  Spike was suggested because he is a know emblem of our Kingdom.  If you don't want to wear it, don't.  If you want to support your Crown then do so.
   
  Enough "suggestions" on what else we could do. Lets focus on what we were asked to do by our monarchs.  If that idea doesn't suit you, fine...drop the subject or start a dialog addressing your suggestions for kingdom changes to the appropriate kingdom office.  All of this belly aching is nauseating.
