Dear friends ,
Thank you for so many messages of comfort and condolence regarding our lost Duchess. Aslinn was obviously very highly thought of by so many of us. It is such a sad time when we lose one of such grace and goodness ( and I wish it known that although we were divorced that we still were in touch and still had a good relationship. Aslinn was and will always be “my” Duchess to me. My daughter Olivia deals with her loss as well). To answer your questions as best I can, The cause of her death was an aneurism causing irreversible brain trauma. She was sustained on life support for some short time but then allowed to pass. I have , at present, no word from her immediate family as to any arrangements or services. My guess is that there will not be anything formal. I have in my own way grieved and celebrated her life and I know those who knew her can do so as well. I believe the best memorial we can give one such as her is to simply remember and smile at some act of kindness she was known for or some silliness that she did that made us grin ( and heaven knows she could be silly with the best of them). I will remember her always sitting next to me upon the Atlantian Thrones and adding the grace they We ( meaning me) needed to “look good”. I apologize to you all for offering such sad tidings and then no information to follow but I knew that many would like to know and I told you all I knew at the time. She was a Queen to us and should be remembered accordingly. I know that she is in a better place and sits with Our Lord and is so happy but even that knowledge makes her loss to us only minutely more tolerable. I hope that I am so worthy that one day when I am called home I can once again sit with her, this time on a higher throne.
May God keep Us and Bless Us all
Olie
