All,
thank you to everyone who came out and danced, partied and celebrated
with us yesterday at St. Vitus' Dance. We had a fabulous time!
I have a few items of lost and found:
- a length of black fabric (I am guessing a cotton velvet or
velveteen), about 2 yards
- a blue and white SCA sticker (probably designed for your car)
- a square tupperware with a blue lid, now empty (there was a granola
bar wrapper inside, if this helps with ID)
- a pewter mug with clear bottom
- a green and brown pottery mug (bottom says Kurt T S...omething, 2002)
- a blue pottery mug with a red and silver charm on the handle
If you recognize any of these, please let me know.
I also wanted to take a minute to say some special thank yous to the
following gentles:
Lady Helwynn & Lady Philippa, who took on extra jobs at late notice
and discharged their duties more than admirably (and in Helwynn's
case, deliciously!)
Lord Galeran, who prepared ball lists and music, coordinated with our
musicians, called dances for over two hours at the end of a long day,
and offered me support throughout the entire planning process.
All those who came and shared their knowledge to teach classes. This
event would not have existed without you! Also the wonderful
musicians who (despite not having practiced together), did a truly
amazing job and sounded absolutely fabulous. You really added to the
ambience!
Lady Rebecca, Lady Rosanella, Maitresse Ysolt, Lord Giovan, Baron
Alejandro, Lady Margaret, and Lady Elunedd (whose name I am probably
misspelling), all of whom stayed and helped clean up until the bitter,
bitter end.
Lady Kateryn Rous, for her fabulous interior decorating skills; Lord
Wilhelm, for manning the game room; Lady Leonetta, for sharing her
time and space in her truck; Lady Letia and her team of servers; Lady
Irmgart for coordinating the dessert revel (and everyone who brought
delicious things to share!).
Baroness Rosalind, for leading off the Caroso Ball with style and
grace, and Baroness Adriana, for moral support, chocolate, and a good
laugh.
Thanks again to everyone who joined us!
YIS,
Rhieinwylydd
