Actually, Eff, I think he was pointing out your S-A-D. "Selective Authenticity Disease". Whatever you feel is a convenience is okay to let slide (like combat boots and aluminum shields), but what you personally dislike should either exactly perscribe to a period precedent or it should be banished.

Do not lose heart, Effingham. There is enough hypocrisy to go around..You  need not try to horde it all! I will gladly share mine with you.
