Umm...actually...as Spike is merely a badge registered to the Kingdom
for the use by the populace, and not a Kingdom Name, nor King/Consort
Arms, all it would take bureaucratically would be a note of release
from the Majesties indicating it was their will to do so, probably
countersigned by at least some of the Kingdom officers and/or
Prince/ess for supportive reasons.  It would have to go through the
full Heraldic process, but as it was a release, that would be trivial.

The only items protected by the "You must get a petition of support"
are the Kingdom Name and Arms (Heralds Admin Handbook IV.C.5 if you
wanna get into the nitty gritty).

Not that I'm saying it is a good idea...I rather like Spike.
