Your grace, I know you're seriously trying to help, but I'm afraid that Dante was just being Fish-E-sus (facetious).

I love Spike, and shame upon the nay sayers. Spike may be mild in form, but his courage and strength are unequaled. How often have you heard the wispers or read in a Blog "...and then I saw those damned blue seahorses on their helms, I new we were in trouble". SHAME! Shame you for your hubris that you think yourselves too great to be defined by the timid seahorse as your charge. Honi soit qui mal y pense!

P.S. Personally, I don't like the idea of the mantles. I will bear Spike on my shield, but I agree with others that camails will cover them up, or they will be another layer to discomfort the fighters.
