[MR] Fw: Queen's Corner - Empty Thrones

I've replied individually to Eadric offlist, but probably should note the
following to the list at large.

As noted in my original post, it was a few MidRealmers trying to impose a
"foreign" custom on a kingdom other than the MidRealm that generated the
response.

And, apart from myself, the two leading conspirators in the Jehan
Knightslayer plot were two folks from the MidRealm and the phrase
"irritatingly ludicrous" is actually a quote from one of them in a report
back to some folks back in the Middle (who really thought the whole thing
was hilarious).

Note the original comment on the lack of historical documentation with which
I was agreeing came from Baron Charles who served as Dragon Principal Herald
of the MidRealm as did his lady wife Graidhne so that he might be considered
to have a uniquely up close and personal view of the custom . . .

Yes, yes, it is definitely right and proper to refer to the customs of
another Kingdom as "irritatingly ludicrous"...

Eadric the Potter,

former Midrealmer (who still sometimes bows to the empty thrones), getting a
little peeved at this line of discussion.
