And just to add confusion to the wearing blades conversation....

I portray one of two cultures. (11th century Ireland and Mongolian). In
either type clothing, if I am wearing a blade and I take it off before going
before the throne, it is an strong insult to the Crown--I am calling the
King impotent and unable to protect himself or his Queen. Let us hope I
never have to do that! (or if I am forced to by the kingdom culture, know
that I will be giggling the entire time)
