To clarify the numbers for Tournament of Chivalry, 84 fighters took the
field. 23 knights were in attendance, of which 3 were dedicated to only
marshaling that day, along with 10 other marshals and water bearers who
signed in at the list.
I would like to take this opportunity to remind all fighters (marshals,
chirurgeons, and water bearers), from the newly authorized to the most
seasoned veteran, that it is imperative that you sign in at the list table
before you take the field. Regardless of whether your name is required for
tracking tournament results or not, the list table serves to ensure that you
and those you take arms against at any event are authorized in combat and
have signed the waiver before combat begins. 95% of those who take the field
have proven reliable at checking in, and you have my gratitude and
appreciation. I fear I must ask you to ensure that your fellows do not fall
into the other 5% and check with them if you did not see them approach the
tables.
Thank you,
Genevieve d'Aquitaine
