I'm sorry you view it as hypocrisy.

I look it as "following the rules we play by."

Unless, again, the point is that people should not be allowed to  
portray another race -- which I don't think is a position anyone would  
agree with. So that point is invalid.

Then we have our safety and combat regs. I don't give a damn if the  
armour is stainless or mild or spring -- as long as it LOOKS like  
armour.

But there is no reason that our banners and surcoats and pavilions  
should have cartoon characters or fantasy things on them. Heraldry is  
already a hell of a large field to work with. There is no need to  
throw in "cutesy".

Do you really view that as hypocrisy?
