Being originally born in Taiwan, I was told not to play with my food whenever I felt the urge to pull threads from the Lotus root.

I thought someone out there would be challenged enough to give this a whirl.  If you do, let me know what happens.  I suspect you could probably get enough thread to make a postage stamp size something before you lost your mind.
