After a bloody feud the nobility has put an end to itself. Without any 
nobles to keep things civil, the peasants have taken over and are partying 
like it is 999. Come join us as we clean out the coffers and raid the forest 
for all we can eat. No rules, no nobles, no limits!

Heavy Fighting: 3 tourneys! Prizes for each! One is a $50 gift certificate!

Rapier Fighting: SHIP to SHIP combat plus single combat! Prize is a $50 gift 
certificate!

Archery: More targets than you can shoot an arrow at! Prize is a $50 gift

A&S: Brewing (aka drinking) and the fabulous Peasant Fashion Show! Prizes 
for each!  Winner of the Brewing Competition gets Honey! Winner of the 
peasant fashion show gets a New shirt!

Scavenger Hunt: Children come prepared to run around, find your prizes and 
avoid the Ogre!

Feast: Yummy dishes from several of our best cooks!

Hafla: Saturday night party like no other! Dance, drum, party!  FREE FOOD!!!

a camping only event however there are local hotels only minutes down the 
road in the city of Lenoir.

Directions
Take your best route to Hwy 321 toward Lenoir, NC.
>From the South: Continue on Hwy 321 through the city of Lenoir. 
Approximately 3.5 miles after the last traffic light in the city you will 
come to a flashing yellow light, turn right onto Hwy 268. (Continue below.)

>From the North: As you approach the city of Lenoir on Hwy 321, look for the 
flashing yellow light and turn left onto Hwy 268. (Continue below.)

Travel on Hwy 268 for 9/10 of a mile, turn right. (Staying on Hwy 268.) 
Continue for 4.5 miles before turning right into Ft. Defiance.
