[MR] Use the pillows!

I think sometimes folks don't want to mess the pillow up.  But trust me,
kneeling on the pillows is much nicer than kneeling on the concrete or dirt,
and that's what they were made for.  If you were called before TRM's, choose
either pillow.  If called before HER Majesty, go to the one in front of her;
before HIS Majesty, the one in front of him.

 

Also, ladies, small tip.  When you are going down to kneel, pull the front
hem of your dress up slightly.  It will be much easier to stand back up, if
your feet aren't holding down the hem of your dress!   (And you won't pitch
forward onto your face in court!)  This is something it's good to practice
before you're called into court.

 

And one last tip on the kneel/don't kneel thing.  If kneeling/getting back
up is difficult, you can't kneel for religious reasons, or you need to
address the populace, all you need do, is quietly ask the Crown for
permission to remain standing.  They'll give it willingly.  Really!
