As you all know, Their Majesties have put the call out for Blackstone
Raids for anyone who can attend. It looks like there will be at least
20 from the Great Northern Army attending, Baron Jurgen's Baronial Army
under the Command of Max Von Halstern will be bringing at least 10, and
I think there will be at least 10 from other parts of the Northern
Army. I know that there are other Baronies, Great Houses and Warbands
answering the call of the King. His Excellency and Max are trying to
make it easier for people to get there. I am forwarding the below for
Kat, the Beneficiarius Militaribus for this great muster for the King
from Ponte Alto.

Anyone, if you are coming please bring your Banners and surcoats so
that the Northern Army and Atlantia can make a great showing on the
field for both King and Kingdom.

As we learn the layout of the event site the Northern Army, the Hammer
of Atlantia will muster along with the rest of the Kingdom Army prior
to the days battles.

We all look forward to seeing, fighting beside and socializing with
anyone who can make it.

I remain

Sir Guy

please pass this on as you see fit.

<<Greetings!

Tis is the last general notice I will be sending out about Blackstone
Raid. Promise!
As you know, his Highness has requested the support of Atlantia in
making a showing at this war between the Midrealm and Æthelmearc.
Blackstone Raid will be held at the Cedar Lakes Conference Center in
Ripley, West Virginia from April 24th-27th. www.cedarlakes.com

More information on the event itself can be found at
http://www.blackstoneraid.org/

**A headcount has been requested. If you are planning to attend and we
haven't talked at all, please drop me a quick email so we have an idea
of how many folks from our area we can expect.**
For those who are interested in traveling together, a caravan is
leaving Lemon Road Elementary School (the Ponte Alto fighter practice
location) on Friday at 6:00 p.m. This will put us at the event site
just shy of midnight, traffic willing.

Regardless of your interest in caravanning, if you have room in your
vehicle for an extra person, or if you will need a ride to the event,
please let me know at dreadpiratekat at gmail.com so I can coordinate
those who need a ride with those who have a seat.
**Also, one individual has asked if someone has space in their vehicle
for his armor and weapons (spear included). If you do, please let me
know so I can put you in touch.**

There are still a handful of rooms available on site. As of this
morning, there are seven motel-style rooms with two twin beds each, and
these run $44 per night. To reserve a room, please call the Cedar
Lakes Conference Center at 304-372-7860. Dormitory bunk space may
still be available, and must be arranged through the event itself:
http://www.blackstoneraid.org/ . There are also a few hotels in
Ripley. Please contact me if you would like more details about those.

We are planning on sharing an off-board meal together on Saturday
evening, either in or near Ripley. If anyone is familiar with the town
and has a restaurant recommendation, please speak up!
For people planning to leave early Sunday morning, please join us for
breakfast at 8:00 at the local Bob Evans (3 Carter Point, Ripley).
As noted, my email address is dreadpiratekat at gmail.com for any
questions or comments. I check this throughout the day.

 Thanks again,
Kat (Beneficiarius Militaribus)>>
