[MR] Waterbearers Needed for War of the Wings

  War of the Wings is now less than three weeks away.  From everything I've heard and seen, this looks like it will be the biggest event attendance-wise in the kingdom this year:  at least 800 people are expected.  So - I need HELP!  Specifically, I   need waterbearing assistance.  
   
  If you are planning to attend and are willing to pitch in, please let me know by email to chirurgeon at atlantia.sca.org.  You can also show up at Chirurgeon's Point to volunteer, but I'd appreciate knowing in advance that I will have some assistants.  Teens are especially appreciated, but no genuine offer of help will be refused.  There will be no assigned shifts, but rather assignments will be by venue:  the woods, the castle, the field, etc.  This is a LARGE site and poison ivy is common, especially in the woods (though efforts have been made to subdue it.)  So make sure you wear sturdy shoes and full covering for your legs.  In addition to 'distribution personnel', I'll also need at least one person to do nothing else but keep the water- and Gatorade-coolers full.  A 2-cooler cart will be provided for transport, because the coolers -when full- weigh nearly 50 pounds each.
   
  There will be martial events going on from Friday night until . . ..  So put on your most comfortable shoes (don't say I didn't warn you) and volunteer for a mile or six.  <ggg>
